MMB Music is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Studio 49 Orff instruments, which were first developed in 1949 with composer and music educator Carl Orff. MMB founder and chairman Norm Goldberg, one of the eight founders of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA), was a driving force in bringing Carl Orff’s innovative music education approach to the U.S.
MMB is also a publisher and distributor of concert music for orchestra, wind ensemble, opera, and chamber ensemble. Marcia Lee Goldberg, MMB president and CEO joined MMB in 1986. The second generation Goldberg served as director of Concert Music for fourteen years and vice president for four years before becoming president.
Since 1964, the Goldbergs and their staff have focused on a mission to enhance the lives of musicians, from classroom to concert stage.
